Felicia Jacobs Obituary
Felicia was born on July 15, 1950 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late James M. and Elma June (Angell) Jacobs. She attended school at St. Lawrence and later General Vanier Secondary School graduating in 1969. She later attended Mater Dei College.
Felicia worked at Merchants Bank as a bookkeeper and later owned and operated her own house cleaning service with her daughters. Felicia was a founding member of Soaring Eagles Volleyball Club, served on the executive board of the Akwesasne Junior B Wolves hockey Team, and throughout the last 30 years, was a dedicated member of the TsiSnaihne, Kawehnoke and Kanatakon Recreation committees.
Felicia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, putting puzzles together and watching hockey games. She enjoyed spur of the moment trips, from going to the beach to shopping in Plattsburgh. She also liked backyard BBQ's and entertaining for her family.
Felicia is survived by her two children, Jennilee (Brad) Wylie of Fort Covington and Tara Jacobs of Snye; five grandchildren, Zoey, Camille, Jaxon, Kingston and Brighton; two sisters, Rhonda Jacobs and Joyce Jock, both of Akwesasne; three brothers, Mark Jacobs, Roderick "Chum" Jacobs and Foster Jacobs, all of Akwesasne and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Cynceria Jacobs and Naomi Lazore; a brother, Cameron Jacobs, brother-in-law Francis Lazore.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00 – 6:00 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home in Massena. A funeral mass will take place on Friday, 10:00 am at St. Regis Catholic Church.
Those wishing to send flowers may send them to the funeral home.
