William F. Spehar

William F. Spehar, 96, of Ewing passed away June 8th at Compassionate Care Hospice, St. Francis Hospital, Trenton.Born in Lewis Run, PA, he lived in Hamilton from 1946 until moving to live with his daughter in 2006.Mr. Spehar was a draftsman with DeLaval Turbine Corp. in Hamilton until his retirement in 1985 after a 40 year career.Son of the late Michael and Monda Sears Spehar, husband of the late Marie H. Spehar, father-in-law to the late Harry S. Houghton, he is the last of 11 children. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Fierabend-Houghton of Ewing; his son, Martin Spehar of Columbus, NC; grandchildren, Christian and his wife Mary Fierabend of Boston, MA, Jonathan Fierabend of Oakland, CA and Jaimie Spehar of Columbus NC; 2 great grandsons, Joseph and Michael Fierabend and many nieces, nephews and their families.He was a man of quiet dignity who was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by family and friends.The family will receive friends on Monday June 17th from 9:00AM until 10:45AM in the chapel of the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the church at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Holy Sepluchre Cemetery.
