William J. "Billy" Stout, Jr., 68, of Battle Creek, died March 17, 2022. Billy was born January 28, 1954 in Albuquerque, NM to William and Helen Stout. He graduated high school and worked as a tool and die maker for many years. Billy loved anything to do with cars. He also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and watching old westerns. Billy is survived by his significant other of many years, Linda Simmons; two brothers, Tim Stout and Gregory Stout; three step children, ,Dennis Hudson, Melissa Reno and Melinda Brown; a step granddaughter, Destiny Brown, two nephews and one great-niece. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at Hicks Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Just now read of Billy's passing he was a great guy we were friends back in the 70's when I lived in Augusta he will be sadly missed by all who knew him rest in peace buddy thanks for the good times we shared.
