William P. (Willie) Strelnik passed away the evening of March 30, 2025 in
Lakeland, Florida. He was born on February 21,1951 along with his identical twin brother Joe to William B. & Tina Strelnik. He went to St Paul's grade school, Anaconda Junior High, & graduated from Anaconda High School in 1969. He attended Montana State University for 2 years and later served in the Montana National Guard.
Growing up in Anaconda he played sports to include AHS golf team & American Legion baseball. He was an avid hunter. He was always proud of being one of the 6 sets of twins that graduated from Anaconda High School in 1969.
He married Mary Kay Bjornemo and they were blessed with 2 children, Craig & Heather. They later divorced. Willie married the love of his life Penny Linton in Florida.
He started working for Davey Power Gas in Anaconda & followed that job to Louisiana, Delaware, Florida, New Mexico, Montana, Louisiana & finally ending up in Florida. He later worked for Stainless Products until his retirement.
Loving cars. Willie was an avid Corvette owner & had his Corvette in many car shows. He was the "Unofficial" leader and Cheerleader of the Lakeland Corvette Club. He also showed his 1962 Chevrolet Impala Convertible. He won many honors with his cars. Every weekend he was in a car show in Florida. Willie also enjoyed strumming his guitar and singing a tune.
He is survived by son Craig (Julie) Strelnik, daughter Heather (Eddie O) Strommen, grandchildren Aidan & Addisyn, stepsons Terry Linton & Tim Linton, twin brother Joe & Marion Strelnik, & sister Tina/Curley Harris. He's also survived by cousins Joe Parks, & Diana Prahl, and several nieces, nephews & cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife Penny, parents Bill & Tina Strelnik, grandparents Joe & Ida Laslovich, & Uncle Parks & Auntie Shorty, cousin Marianne French, & brother-in-law Ronnie Harris.
