William Lloyd Thomas

William Lloyd Thomas, age 88, of Forrest City, died Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. He had been in poor health for the past year.

Mr. Thomas was born July 28, 1937, in Forrest City, and was the son of Earnest Thomas and Ada Deere Thomas. He lived in St. Francis County all of his life, was owner of Thomas Heating and Air, and was a member of the Rusty Nails Cowboy Church.

Mr. Thomas married Ethel Jean Smith in 1955, and she preceded him in death in 2023. He is survived by three sons; William Earl Thomas of Colt, and Richard Allen Thomas and Steven Ashley Thomas, both of Forrest City, one daughter; Ruth Ann Harrison, and Willy, of Wynne, two brothers; David Allen Thomas and Jerry Thomas, both of Texas, four sisters; Christine Jones and Carol Pruitt, both of Palestine, and Gracie Poindexter and Kathy Burke, both of Arkansas, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He had one grandchild, William Harrison, who preceded him in death.

Services will be held Graveside, 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, at the Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at Stevens Funeral Home, with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. You may log on to stevensfuneralhome.net for the online registry.
