A wonderful husband, father and grandfather has gone home to be with Jesus. Bill's life was a witness for his love of Jesus Christ and his family. For his family he was the calm in every storm, and the steady hand that anchored us. His family honors his life and the legacy of a great man.

One of the things that brought Bill the greatest joy was photographing birds at Black Point Drive on the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. It was his sanctuary - a place where he felt connected to the natural world, at peace with the rhythms of life, and fully alive behind the lens of his camera. Bill had a gift for seeing beauty where others might not look - the beauty of an eagle soaring, the grace of a heron in flight, the stillness of a gator at rest, the fleeting shimmer of sunlight on the water.

Bill's passion, patience, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him. He loved deeply and gave freely with no expectation, only devotion. He didn't need to be the loudest in the room; his presence alone brought comfort, and his laughter made even the ordinary feel like something special.

I thank God for giving us 55 years of marriage, two wonderful sons and their wives, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. I am also thankful for the beauty Bill saw in this world and for the love he gave so freely. We will carry his love and memory with us always.
