William (Bill) David Timm of
Two Rivers, WI, age 76, passed away on December 27, 2025 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing.
Bill was born on March 3, 1949 in Two Rivers WI to Howard and Ione Timm. He was a 1967 graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers. Following high school, Bill enlisted in the US Air Force and was stationed for 13 months in South Korea. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in June 1972.
He was married to Wendy Houston of Manitowoc from 1976 until 2009. They moved to Rochester Minnesota in 1989. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, spending time with friends and family, military history, volunteering with the VFW/DAV, and watching Green Bay Packers games.
Bill had a medical specialty in the Air Force which led to a career in nursing and a passion for serving others. He attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and graduated with a degree in Nursing from Wytheville (Virginia) Community College in 1981. He was employed over the years as an Emergency Room Charge Nurse at Montgomery County Hospital (Blacksburg VA), Door County Medical Center (Sturgeon Bay WI), and St. Mary's Emergency Room (Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN). Bill retired in 2008 and later moved back to Two Rivers to be closer to family.
Bill is survived by his sons Nathan (Emily) Timm of Stillwater MN, Dylan (Bridgette) Timm of Kasson MN, and Paul (Diana) Almen of Minneapolis MN; his siblings Mary Beth (Del Nason) Timm, Sharon (Timm) Suettinger and Mickey Timm (all of Two Rivers); Grandchildren Malcolm Timm, Nolan Timm, Lily Timm, Miranda Almen, and Sydney Almen; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Ione Timm, brother Terry Timm, sister Cheryl (Timm) Fruin and brother-in-law Jim Suettinger.
Special thank you to Bill's sister Mary Beth (Noel) Timm and Del Nason for their loving care of Bill during his years of health challenges and Aurora Medical staff for assisting in his health care. Bill also appreciated the loving support of his special friend Linda Peterson and his loyal friend Thomas Fryer.
Funeral services will be held on January 17th 2026 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Parish in Two Rivers. Visitation held at 9 A.M. with the funeral beginning at 11 A.M. Military honors will be held in the church parking lot followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery and concluding with a luncheon at the Church.
