Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel - CoffeyvilleWilliam "Kevin" Trotter, a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on September 30, 2025, in Coffeyville, Kansas, at the age of 67. Born on December 7, 1957, in Coffeyville, Kevin embodied the spirit of his hometown, where he spent his early years attending Coffeyville Schools.
After entering the workforce at a young age, Kevin dedicated many years of his life to the manufacturing industry, ultimately retiring from ALLtra in 2024. His work ethic and commitment to his profession were commendable, leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege to work alongside him.
An avid lover of the great outdoors, Kevin found joy in fishing and was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Oklahoma Sooners. He was known for his culinary skills and took delight in creating meals that brought family and friends together. However, it was his love for children that truly defined him. Kevin shared a special bond with the younger generation in his life—his warmth and kindness cultivated meaningful relationships that will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Kevin is survived by his devoted sons, Shawn Trotter, Shane Trotter, Jeremy Anderson, and Clint Hicks; his loving daughter, Jamie Shelton; his caring daughter-in-law, Jennifer Trotter; his sisters, Melanie Olson and Penny Webber; and his cherished grandchildren: Peyton Trotter, Jalyn Trotter, Lane Trotter, Addilyn Trotter, Allyssa Zamora, Jensen Anderson, and Jaxson Anderson. He also leaves behind a great-grandson, Cash Zamora, who will carry on his legacy. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Elsye Trotter.
In this time of remembrance, we invite all those whose lives were touched by Kevin to come together in reflection and gratitude for the warmth and joy he brought into the world. His legacy of love, laughter, and family will forever echo in the lives of those he leaves behind.
