William Allen Varner, born July 8, 1933 on Signal Mountain, TN, died at 92 years of age in Mt Carmel, OH on December 22, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Phyllis (Wardlow) Varner, his parents Laban & Mamie Varner and 5 brothers and 3 sisters. William is survived by his son, Gregory and wife Sherry, granddaughter Reagan (Nile), and siblings Roxie Bitzer, Faye Moss, & Jim Varner. William served proudly in the Army from 1953 to 1955. He worked for 34 years in the maintenance department at MCB/EM Science Chemical company. He was a member of Fairfax Nazarene Church for 58 years serving his Savior in many roles including Board member, bus driver, head usher, and backup music leader/soloist.
Funeral Services will be held to honor the life of William on Friday, December 26th, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home in Milford (741 Center Street). Visitation will begin at 1pm, and continue until time of service at 2pm. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Fairfax Nazarene Church, 3802 Watterson Avenue; Cinti 45227.
