Mr. William Arthur Vereen was born in Whiteville, North Carolina on July 19, 1960 to the late Sarah Mack Briggs and late John Wallace Vereen.
He departed this life on March 3, 2023 at the age of 62 after a short illness.
William affectionately known as "Nasty Cat" attended the public schools Florence School District One and was a graduate of Wilson High School Class of 1979.
William joined The House of God Keith Dominion Church under the leadership of State Elder, General Elder Elijah Green. William loved the Lord and his church.
William was a Cement Finisher for several years prior to his retirement.
William was married to his devoted wife of 30 years, Mrs. Tewanda Robinson-Vereen.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Tewanda Robinson-Vereen of the home, three children he loved as his own Meshia Robinson, Quesi Crawford, and Rodreques Crawford all of Florence, SC; ten grandchildren; one great-grand; four brothers, Harry (Harriet) Gregg of Hobe, FL, Glen Vereen of Houston, TX, J.W. Vereen and Bobby Vereen both of Florence, SC; two sisters, Pastor Iris (Frank) Lee and Peggy Brooks both of Stone Mountain, GA; beloved mother in-law, Wilhelmenia Jackson of Florence, SC; sister in-law, Tonia (Ronald) Curtis of Florence, SC; four brother in-laws, Deacon Gregory (Catherine) Robinson of Fayetteville, NC, John (Samantha) Robinson, Detrod (Tonya) Robinson, Tracy Robinson all of Florence; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the home, 2330 W. Sumter Street, Florence.
