William Wagner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by DuPage Cremations, Ltd. and Memorial Chapel on Dec. 15, 2023.
William H(Bill) Wagner passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on December 7, 2023. Born on July 18th, 1940 in Chicago Illinois, Bill's generous spirit, kindness and warm smile left an impression on anyone whose path he crossed. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline, for 57 years, a love story that stood as a testament to commitment & faith.
Bill is the beloved son of the late Henry W and Anne T Wagner. He was a loving father to Kelli Wagner, Wendi Driggers(Steve) and Tanja Lowe(Jeff). Bill was an amazing Papa who shared unique relationships with each of his grandchildren ~ Leighton(Kelly), Caleb(Jenna), Evan(Sofie), Grace, Elisha, Joshua, Brianna, Taryn and Katie(Desiree). Bill also was a great-grandfather to Corben, Cadence, Mariah & Eli.
Bill's siblings are Robert(Rose), the late Thomas(Helen) & the late Barbara Horstmann. Bill is survived and dearly loved by his many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Bill made friends easily and countless people considered Bill a friend, none more so, than his friend of 75+ years, Bill Garrett.
Bill was a Buck Sargent in the US Army and a member of Local 150 IUOE, for 57 years, he also served as a Deacon in his church.
