William Walker Obituary
February 21, 1936 – October 23, 2025
William Lorin Walker, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, in Brigham City, Utah, at the age of 89. Born on February 21, 1936, in Boise, Idaho, Bill lived a life marked by service, love, and devotion to family.
A proud veteran of the Korean War, Bill served his country with honor and courage. His commitment to duty and integrity remained a guiding principle throughout his life. Bill served as a Brigham City police officer early in his career. Later he also served as a City Council Member for Perry City.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Shandra John Walker. His children: Scott (Christine) Walker, Shaun Walker, Troy (Paula) Walker, and Pamela Smeal. He is also survived by his stepchildren: Brenda Smith, Randy Robbins, and Diana Robbins. Bill was a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to many, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness, strength, and wisdom.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marian Jeppson Walker, whose memory he held dear.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday November 4th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Myers Mortuary in Brigham City, Utah. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday November 5th, at 11:00 AM at the LDS Chapel located at 2415 S. 900 W. Perry, Utah. A viewing will also be available prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45.
Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved and inspired.
