Michael Hemmert Obituary
June 6, 1943 - October 5, 2025
Michael (Mike) L. Hemmert passed away on October 5, 2025 from heart/lung disease in the IHC ICU unit in Murray, Utah. He was 82 years old.
Mike was born June 6, 1943 in Idaho Falls, Idaho and grew up on a ranch in Glasgow, Montana, served honorably in the US Army and spent the last 50 years owning and operating Bushnell Lodge. When Mike wasn't busy taking care of the motel he enjoyed fishing and watching auto racing.
Mike is survived by his wife Linda of 53 years; and his children, Michelle (Troy) Pattillo, Andrea and his two grandchildren, Aidan and Oliver. Siblings Ruth Ann Gurr, Deniece (Jim) Stacy, Sonia Hemmert, Blane (Terri) Hemmert and many nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Lyman and Alta Hemmert, sister Alonna Cook and brothers Neal and Alma.
Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 11:00am at the Brigham City Cemetery 300 South 300 East, Brigham City, UT.
