William J. Watts Jr., age 65 of Woodbury, formerly of "Oak Valley" Deptford Twp., passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. Born in Philadelphia to the late William J. Watts Sr. and Helen (nee Christy), he was a proud graduate of Deptford High School Class of 1978. Bill was the owner of Big Reds Home Remodeling LLC and took great pride in his work. He was an active member of the Mantua VFW 7679. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need and will forever be remembered as a gentle soul with a heart as big as his smile and he gave the best hugs. He was always the life of the party with a laugh that could fill up any room. Bill was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan. Though he is gone, the memories we share will keep his spirit alive within us.

Bill is survived by his fiancée, Helen C. Schappert; his son, Mark J. Watts; his daughter, Kelsey Lecane & her husband Phil; his former wife, Denise Watts; grandchildren, William J. Watts IV, Savanna Watts, Leah Lecane, Ryan, Michael, Julia, Lilly, Marik, and Gunner; and two sisters, Helen Wyatt and Debbie Whyte. He was predeceased by his son, William J. Watts III and his daughter, Kristin Marie Watts.

Relatives and friends may visit from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Monday, October 6th at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051 where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 pm. Interment will be private. Bill's family request that you wear your favorite Philadelphia Eagles attire. Go Birds.
