William Thomas Watts

William Thomas Watts, 83, of Cabot passed away Friday, February 20, 2026. He was born May 22, 1942 in Little Rock to the late William Whitfield and Theresa Pearl O'Neal Watts. Mr. Watts served his country in the United States Army from 1962 to 1965. After being honorably discharged as a Specialist 4, he worked as a mechanic for the United States Postal Service, retiring after 32 years. Mr. Watts was a faithful member of Briarwood Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was an amateur radio operator and earned an associate's degree in gunsmithing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Watts was preceded in death by his siblings, Vivian Jobe and Joseph Bowman.

Mr. Watts is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan Logan Watts; children, Robert Clayton Watts (Tommye) of Cabot, Shane Martin Moyer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Michael Joseph Moyer (Leah) of Jacksonville and Ellen Theresa Van London (Kurt) of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a stepbrother, James Don Bowman (Kathy) of Conway.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the funeral home with Pastor John Powell officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
