William Robert White of Mesquite, Nevada, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, at the age of 90, surrounded by love.
Born on March 26, 1935, in Leonix, California, to Milton and Hazel White, Bill's life was marked by resilience, determination, and a deep commitment to family and service. He attended Saint Catherine's Military School in Anaheim, where he developed the discipline and character that would guide him throughout his life.
In his youth, Bill faced great loss when his father passed away in a hotel fire. At age fifteen he and his older brother moved to Torrance, California, to live with their mother and stepfather, Hazel and Norman Radi. Bill graduated from Torrance High School and continued his education at California State University, DomInguez Hills, earning a Master of Science degree in Medical Technology.
Bill began his career running medical laboratories in hospitals before transitioning into quality control auditing for medical equipment companies. His work took him across the globe where he proudly helped ensure the safety and excellence of medical technology. After decades of dedicated service, he retired in 2023.
In May of 1953, Bill married his first wife, Joanne, and together they welcomed a son William Joseph White in 1955. In 2001, Bill married his beloved wife, Judith Ann. Together they made their home in Mesguite, Nevada, and bullt both a life and legacy filed with partnership and adventure. They opened and operated successful businesses - a real estate company and a consignment shop - before eventually selling them to enioy retirement.
Bill and Judy shared a love for travel and golf, exploring some of the most beautiful destinations the world has to offer. Bill was an avid golfer and continued to play joyfully until the age of 88.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Judith; his son William Toseph (Elizabeth) grandchildren Jason and Billy; two stepchildren, Steven (Arlene) Groos and Joni (Bill Kennedy); three grandsons; his sister-in-law, Benda White; and several nieces. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather; sister, Sharon Alexander: and brother, Ted White.
Bill will be remembered for his intelligence, kindness, gentle humor, and steadfast loyalty to those he loved. His legacy of hard work, perseverance, and love for family and life's simple joys lives on in all who knew him.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later date in Mesquite. ln lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice in Bill's memory.
