William B. Windsor Jr., 79, of Ashland, Ohio passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, April 10, 2025 at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus surrounded by his loving family.
He was born September 6, 1945 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late William B. Windsor Sr. and Dorothy (Slayton) Windsor and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Bill retired from Abbott Labs and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and he especially enjoyed "Windsor Wednesdays" with his siblings. He also had a love for playing the Lottery scratch off tickets.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tammy (Curt) Carter of Ashland; son, William (Stephanie) Windsor III of Sunbury; grandchildren, Riley (Caitlin) Windsor, Aubrey (Nathan) Miles and Abbey Windsor; brothers, Clarence "Bud" (Darlene) Windsor of Mansfield and Jack Windsor of Ashland; sisters, Kathy Patton of Ashland and Emily (John) Patton of Mansfield; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brothers Roger and Geary Windsor.
Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 1 - 4 pm at the Ashland American Legion, 1338 Claremont Avenue, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
