William G. Wise

Wise, William G., 93, Mapleton Depot, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on December 27, 2025. Born August 28, 1932, son of the late Stanley and Emily (Shore) Wise. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wise is preceded in death by his wife, F. Floann (Arnold) Wise; grandson Adam Wise and granddaughter Jessica Rohrer. Mr. Wise is survived by daughter, Donna (Chuck) Rohrer; son, Paul Wise; grandsons, Marc Rohrer, Seth Rohrer, Scott Wise; great-grandsons, Luke Rohrer, Lane Rohrer, Davian Wise; brother Mark (Linda) Wise. William found his greatest peace outdoors, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing and found comfort in the stillness of nature. A very private person, he lived life on his own terms and valued the close bonds he shared with those he loved. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Wise may be made to the Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 Schoolhouse Hollow Road, Huntingdon, PA 16652.
