William (Bill) Henry Wolf 78
09/30/1947 -10/31/2025
He was born in Battle Creek MI. to the late Richard Wolf and Gladys Prolo. Bill resided most of his life in Sturgis and Burr Oak coming from the Vicksburg area where he graduated in 1966.
In 1967 he married his first wife Lee for 25yrs. and fathered 3 children Lisa Wolf (Eric) Allen of Salem Or. Lawrence Wolf and David Wolf both of Sturgis MI. and foster-son Ronny Lee. Giving him a Granddaughter Alisha Allen of Salem Or. and 2 Grandsons Erick and Damien (Barnell) Allen of Oregon City Or. 3 Great-grandsons Braeden, Oakland Hernandez and Beau Barnell and 1 Great-granddaughter Audrey Barnell. Son-in-law Eric gave Bill the nickname "Pops" in 1990, and it stuck and carried on for 35 yrs. by his step-children and their friends.
Bill is survived by his sister Betty Outman of Leonidas MI. and brother Rick (Eugenia) Wolf of Colon MI. and 4 step-sisters and several nieces and nephews. In Sept.1996 Bill married his 2nd. wife Judy Kay Conley that blessed him 4 step-children Rodney, Marty, Wanda Daniels and Tonia Persing that gave him 13 more grandkids and 2 great-grandkids. Bill and Judy were married for a wonderful 29 yrs. before Judy preceded him in death June,2025.
In Bills younger day he dreamed of being a Forest Ranger that gave him the love for wild animals he had raised a skunk a fawn and nursed back to health a hawk. Bill loved watching Western Movies, listening to music and teaching his daughter Lisa how to dance. He loved playing cards and pool with friend Bill Hunt of Burr Oak. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan. Bill played Softball for several leagues in the Sturgis area mostly for Morgan Olson of Sturgis MI. Where he was a dedicated employee for 33yrs. retiring in 2009. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. After retiring he enjoyed BBQ's with his family and all the grandkids as he sat on his Covered Swing.
A very special thanks to his niece Alice Munoz for being his caregiver for the past year we couldn't have done it without you and nephew Kevin Woodman and sister Betty for surrounding him with love until the very end.
Preceding in Death: a brother Vern Wolf, his beautiful wife Judy Kay, his Father Richard and Step-mother Leatrice Wolf Sr., Mother Gladys Prolo, sons Lawrence Wolf and Ronny Lee and great-niece Sarah Bogucki.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be at a later date.
