William "Kevin" Wright, 58, of Sherrill's Ford, NC, died Friday, August 15th, 2025. He was born on October 28th, 1966, in Spruce Pine, NC to Viola Freeman Wright and Charles Wright.

Kevin is survived by his wife Lisa Price Wright, and children Emma Claire and Liam Jason. He is also survived by his parents Viola and Charles Wright, and his two siblings Tammy Manganello and Tracy Wright. He is additionally survived by many beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Kevin was hardworking and intelligent from an early age, with a loving and kind spirit that stayed with him his whole life. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University, he began his career at Drexel Heritage and continued advancing his career in various supply chain roles in numerous industries. Kevin was a basketball officiant, a lover of photography, travel, movies, music and reading. His happiest times were spent in the company of family and friends where his sense of humor and kind demeanor were a blessing to all. Kevin devoted his life to his loved ones, always putting his family and friends first. He will best be remembered for his sense of humor and big heart, as well as his resilience. We are all better off for having known him and will always keep him close in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 22nd at Mt. Celo Community Church, 5277 Highway NC-80 South. Burnsville, NC 28714. Receiving of friends will be at the same location at 1:00pm. Flowers, or charitable donations, may be sent to Mt. Celo Community Church.
