William Yaste Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home on Dec. 31, 2024.
William Keith Yaste, known affectionately to all as Keith, passed away on December 28, 2024, in Lexington, KY, at the age of 60. Born on September 3, 1964, to Vernon and the late Barbara Yaste, Keith's life was one marked by unwavering kindness, friendliness, and a remarkable knack for fixing just about anything.
He graduated from Bourbon County High School and went on to dedicate many years of service within the maintenance department at Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Kentucky until his retirement. His commitment to his work was paralleled only by his devotion to the people around him.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Keith will remember him for his love of the simple joys-those found in the quiet moments on his farm where he felt most at home. A true family man, his happiest times were spent in the company of his beloved wife, Alice Marie, and their two sons, Lucas, married to Taylor, and Brian. He was a proud grandfather to Evelyn, Gabriel, and Audrey, sharing with them the same gentle spirit that he carried throughout his life.
Keith also leaves behind a rich legacy of love and laughter with his father, Vernon, his sisters, Lorie Yaste-Zajieck, Beckie Isaacs with husband Bob, Lynne Cipro with husband Gary, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His life was a testament to the power of kindness and the beauty of a life lived with an open heart. Keith will be deeply missed but forever remembered as the kind, friendly, and handy man who enriched the lives of all who knew him.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday January 3, 2024, by Bro. Dean Scott at the Bedford Acres Christian Church, 5414 Lexington Rd., Paris, KY. Burial will follow in the Clintonville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM Friday January 3, 2024, until the hour of service at the church.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. The online guestbook is at www.luskmcfarland.com and a 24-hour funeral information line can be reached by calling 859-987-4387.
