William James Zilka

Zilka, William J. "Bill" age 89, of Roseville, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years Sharon; parents, August and Helen Zilka; brothers Raymond, Harold, Fredrick and Richard and sister, Viola. He is survived by his sons, Bradley, (Lisa), Barry (Christy), and James; grandchildren Kendall, Mason, Marnie, Erin, Camryn and Lauren, great-grandchildren Tommi, Presli, Robert and Chloe, sister Helen and many other friends and relatives. Bill worked for the Phillips Petroleum Company for over 40 years. He was an avid fisherman who was the leader on many family Canadian fishing trips. Bill was an avid cribbage player who was always up for a game. Over the years he played tennis and basketball with a close group of friends. Bill was devoted to his family and always willing to help and be there when needed. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Emma Norton Services, 670 Robert St. N., St. Paul 5510. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2025, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour before the service at the Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel, 3996 West 50th St. & Hwy 100, Edina, Minnesota.
