The viewing will be held the day of service at 10:00AM in the Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church, 1118 W. Beaver Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32204 and the celebration will begin at 11:00AM, H.B. Charles, Jr., Pastor. The final disposition of burial will be held in The Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218 at 1:30 PM.
In the time of personal loss, the beloved family has elected to locally entrust the Ministry of Comfort & Care, along with transitional after-care arrangements to Holmes-Glover-Solomon Funeral Directors, Inc.

My condolences to the family and loved ones of Mr. Alexander. What a wonderful man he was. Always with a kind smile and disposition. Whether at Cottens´, when I first met him in the 1980s, to the time he was a bailiff in the courthouse, he was always a ray of sunshine.
What a wonderful life and legacy he leaves.

Mr Alexander was one of my favorite Father´s for us boys on Vernon Road. We had a crew that grew up together as young boy´s and he was always a positive influence on us. His son Pop Squid Nut the Jenkins brothers. James and Michael Humphrey the Thomas brothers and me Wesley. Rest in peace. You lived a great life.

Mr. Alexander was affectionately known and he was a shinning light In the lives of all who knew him. At the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, he was labeled as a LEGEND!!! He trained me to become a professional bus driver.His passing has left a void, in the hearts of his family, friends and many, whose lives he touched. He truly will be missed!!
