Mr. Willie James Tanner (Bill), age 85, of Woodstock, GA. passed away on February 4, 2025.
Mr. Tanner was born on November 13, 1939, in Ringgold, VA to the late Robert Lee and Edith Mary Lena Womack Tanner.
Bill was preceded in death by siblings, Frances Tanner, Robert Tanner, Jr. and other family member, Charles Smith.
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the Beloved are saddened to announce the passing of Willie James Tanner (Bill).
Forever in our Hearts and never to be Forgotten.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Jackson; daughter, Sharon Donley and her husband, Jeff Donley; grandchildren, Reanna Payne and her husband, Justin Payne, Justin Weatherford, Rainey Lewis, Amanda Wheat; great grandchildren, Amaya Smith, Avery Tucker; nieces and nephews, Cassandra Jenkins and her husband, Gill Jenkins, Jackie Tanner, Victor Tanner, Janet Smith, Lamar Tanner and his wife, Melissa Tanner, Lakeisha Williams, Diane Smith, Daryle Smith, Donald Smith, friends, Bob Williams and his wife, Kem Williams, Claudia Tafurt, Dr. John Elliott, Bill Gunderson and his wife, Kate Gunderson, Rosemary Sharp and her husband, James Sharp.
