Talladega-Mrs. Willie Mae Bridges, 74, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. Mrs. Bridges loved taking care of her family and making sure they had what they needed. She took her grandchildren camping regularly, a childhood memory they will always cherish. She was a great mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband: Lois Russell Bridges; parents: A.D. and Estelle Green; 1 sister: Opal Hurst; 2 brothers: Charles "John Adders" Green, David Green. She is survived by 1 son: Michael Woodard; 2 daughters: Terri Hudgins Collins (Joe). Michelle Davis (Jeff); 2 sisters: Ezelle Spurling, Genell Moore; sister-in-law: Belinda Green; 6 grandchildren: Tony Patterson (Abby), Amanda Tomlin (Andrew), Josh Davis (Ashley), Justin Patterson, Jacob Davis, Skylar Owens; 10 great grandchildren: Carsen Bowman, Haiden Davis, Ella Reid, Alivia Reid, Lincoln Reid, Leland Patterson, Levi Davis, Samuel Tomlin, Barrett Davis, and Remi Davis. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 1:00pm-2:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The service will follow in the chapel at 2:00pm. Burial will be at Midway Memory Gardens with Tim Oliver, Jeffrey Oliver, T.J. Oliver, Skylar Owens, Jimmie Owens, and Langston Gadson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Woodard, David Ray Green, Grady Junior Spurling, Joshua Davis and Jacob Davis. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
