Willie Dixon Obituary
Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Willie Gene Dixon, age 77, who passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at his residence in Hortense. Mr. Dixon was a native of Appling County. He loves fishing, big rig trucks, listening to country music, and sitting on the front porch in his rocking chair.
Mr. Dixon is preceded in death by his parents, William Harvey and Emily Barber Dixon, and his siblings.
He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tom McCoy officiating.
Interment will follow in the Beckworth-Swinson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Active Pallbearers are Raymond Holton, Michael Brantley, Brandon Brantley, Payton Walker, Jason Thomason, David Perkins, and Travis Perkins.
Honorary Pallbearers are Denny Dixon and grandson Cash, April Holton, and Ashli Holton.
