Bill was born and raised in Kenly, NC. He graduated from North Johnston High School and went on to serve many years in the United States Marine Corps. After leaving the Marine Corps, he found his true passion and began a career as an electrician employed by Lassiter Electric.
Bill leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother Christine P. Edwards, two daughters; Deneshia Munroe, (Dee) and Christine Pendergraft (Marvin), two brothers; Ernest Edwards (Cecy), Jimmy Edwards; five sisters; Mary Jolly, Debora Edwards (Robert), Pamela Sutton, Priscilla McDowell (Steve), and Jennifer Edwards, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
Walk-Thru Viewing:
Friday August 1, 2025, at Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations 302 S. Bright Leaf Blvd from 3-5pm.
Funeral:
Saturday August 2, 2025, at Mincey Chapel FWB Church 401 N Gardner Ave., Kenly, NC 12:00 noon, viewing 11:00 am until 12:00 noon.
