Willie was born in Burkesville Ky, to Charlie and Lois Hughes on September 5th, 1928 as a middle child of 11 other siblings. She was a mother, homemaker, and the glue that held together a blended family including grandchildren, for 7 decades. Over the past few years, she enjoyed watching game shows and the "Big Bang Theory". She was always curious as the to latest happenings in the lives of her grandchildren, and when visiting, the family always enjoyed sharing stories from her childhood and later years.
Willie is survived by daughter Kathy O'Brien of Leander, Texas. Sons Frank Flemmons of Yukon, Oklahoma and Carroll Flemmons of Pickerington, Ohio. Stepson Charles Roger Flemmons of Russell, Kansas and Stepdaughter Mary Sue Flemmons Williams of Howe, Oklahoma and numerous grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Lois Hughes, spouse J.B. Carter, spouse Charles Flemmons, and one daughter, Susan Clark.
