Mrs. Willie Sue Floyd, 81 of Cartersville, Georgia passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Bartow Street, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement. This service will be LIVE-STREAMED.

Willie Sue Floyd was born on May 11, 1944, in Acworth, Georgia, to the late John Henry and Vera Mae McAfee. She was educated in the Cobb County School System and carried the values of family, resilience, and faith throughout her life. On Sunday, February 15, 2026, Sue entered eternal rest.

Sue was united in love with the late Charles Floyd, and together they built a beautiful family, blessed with three children. She was affectionately known as "Sue Gal" and "Fireball" by her family and friends-names that perfectly reflected her spirited personality and loving heart.

Sue found joy in life's simplest pleasures. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, dancing, and, most of all, spending quality time with her family and friends. She had a playful sense of humor and was known to laugh heartily at toddlers attempting to use grown-up words. She loved watching wrestling, westerns, and Sanford & Son. In her early adult years, Sue worked faithfully as a housekeeper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved Charles Floyd; her granddaughter, Royalty Marie Floyd; her brother, William McAfee; and her daughter-in-law, Belinda J. Floyd.

Sue leaves to cherish her precious memories: her sons, John Floyd and Clarence Floyd; her daughter, Serina Floyd; her daughter in love, Robetta Gary; her sisters, Aleane Johnson, Mary Francis Ross, and Theresa Kilgore; along with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Sue's love, laughter, and vibrant spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
