Willie Folkner Obituary
The Flintstone, GA native was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga, and served briefly as a missionary in Spain. After retiring from Provident, she worked in customer service for Kohl's and Belk. She was much in demand as a house and pet sitter and worked as a beloved companion in elder care.
Willie was an educated and well-traveled woman and often told stories of her adventures. An only child to William and Lela Hise Folkner, she was especially close to her first and second cousins and was loved the same as a sibling.
Final arrangements were made by Wilson Funeral Home of Chickamauga. A remembrance gathering will take place in the near future.
