Willie Mae "Jin" Gaston, age 91, was born April 29, 1932 to Sarah Elizabeth Frazier and William Hobart Larew in Inskip, Knoxville and passed away July 29, 2023. Jin was preceded in death by her loving husband John "Jack" Gaston. They would have been married 73 years this coming November. She was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and provided love and moral support to those in need. She was affectionately "Aunt Jin" and "Momma G" to all. Jin was involved with the O'Connor Dance Club, and shared her joy with others by teaching what she loved. Jin loved Big Band music and the Tennessee Vols, with a special place in her heart for the "Pride of the Southland". Jin is survived by her son John "Ed" Gaston, Jr and his wife Laura; grandsons Kristoffer and Dustin and his wife Alexandra; great-grandsons Pierce and Dagan; and her favorite niece and her husband Susan and Darrell Thomas. Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2023, First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Knoxville with the Rev. Mike Wilkinson officiating.
