ADRIAN – Willie L. Henagan, age 84, of Adrian, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at her home. She was born February 1, 1940, in Summer County, Alabama to Willie and Lucy (Williamson) Brown. On July 14, 1961, she married Henry Henagan in Adrian, and he preceded her in death. Willie loved to cook, work in her garden and doing yard work. She also loved taking trips to the casino, playing cards and dominoes. Willie was a babysitter for most families in town and loved children. Willie was all about family and spending time with them ever chance she could. She was an aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.
Willie is survived by one son, Clint (Kim) Henagan of Hopkinsville, KY; one daughter, Ruby Fae Bedolla of Adrian; siblings Brenda Brown of Livingston, AL and Joe Brown of Livingston, AL; six grandchildren, Rashad Henagan, Tenisha Henagan, Nakeyia (Todd) Meyers, Brandi Barker, Clint (C.J.) Henagan and Sydni Henagan; and five great-grandchildren, Dayton Henagan, Rylan Henagan, Brayden Meyers, Eliza Barker, and Kellen Meyers. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Henry Henagan; parents; brothers, Walter Williamson, Ottis Brown, Square Lloyd (Earlean) Brown, and Jody Brown; and sisters Cherrie Clark and Mary (James) Henagan. daughter, Carmelita Henagan; and one great-granddaughter, Latisha Tanay
Funeral services for Willie will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 12:00 PM, at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian with Assistant Pastor Deanne Henagan officiating. Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh immediately following the service. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service, at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
