Willie James Howard, Sr was born to the union of Egusta Howard, Sr and Edna Allen Howard in Fairfield, Tx. His family moved to Dallas when he was 3 years old. He attended DISD Schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in Dallas, Tx. He owned Howard's Auto for a short period of time, and then he had a long employment with Dresser Industries as a Tool and Die Machinist.

He married Eleanor Addie Jean Bailey and to their union two sons were born, Willie, Jr and Rickey Lionel Howard. Willie was preceded in death by both parents Egusta, Sr and Edna Howard, brother Egusta Howard, Jr, sister's Morrell Washington, Shirley Ubanks, Vivian Broadnax, and Frankie Jones, son Rickey Lionel Howard.He is survived by sister Dorothy Howard, brother's Jacob Howard(Beverly)Joseph Howard(Deloris) his loving son Willie James

Howard, Jr{Jacqueline) grandsons, Willie James. Howard III, Marcus Lionel Howard(Tralyn) Denzel Rashad Howard, great grand daughters Zuri Jean Howard, Saige Anele Howard, and Traveah F, great grandson TreShawn F, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, especially his Church family at Saintsville Church of God In Christ.
