Wille Clearance Jackson, Jr, 80, transitioned peacefully on the evening of January 2, 2026.

Born the son of the late Willie Clearance Jackson, Sr and the late Herrise Jackson in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 24, 1945.

Willie retired from the local newspaper company, the Shreveport Times. He also maintained a lawncare business and a cleaning service with Regal Cinemas. He employed many family members and friends.

Willie was known for being very kindhearted, and he would give a stranger his very last. He loved to travel and make random "just because" visits. Willie would pack up as many people as he could, in his "Yellow Van," and hit the road. He visited Southermaid Donuts on any given day; he always wanted them "hot and ready."

Children are as follows: Willie Clearance Jackson, III, (late son) Kent E. Jackson, daughter Gwendoly Walker (Charles), son Charles W. Mack, Jr (JaTina), son Patrick Jackson, and daughter Shenia Jackson Hall, host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Siblings are as follows: sister Audrey Rasco (Dan), late brother Charles Jackson, brother Wilbert Jackosn, sister Linda Jackson Beal (late Billy), sister Irene Jackson, brother Vernon Jackson.
