Willie Mae Peterson Lewis

Sister Willie Mae Paterson Lewis affectionately known as "Grandma Willie Mae" entered into her eternal home, to forever be with the Lord on March 4, 2026 at the age of 90. She was the wife of the late George Lewis, Sr. Loving daughter of the late McKinley and Mable Peterson. Devoted mother of Gregory, Gerald, Donald, the late George, Jr., David & Bernadette Lewis. Loving sister of Ida Mae Tolbert, John Holmes, Sr., Bernice Holloway, Ann Peterson, Howard, Earl, Ernestine, Edna, William & McKinley, Jr. Granddaughter of Floyd & Louizer Ellison. Willie Mae is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Irish Channel Fellowship, Second Morning Star Baptist Church, also employees of Quest Diagnostics, Carpenters Local Union #1846 are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Irish Channel Christian Fellowship, 819 First Street New Orleans, LA 70130 on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 10:00am.
