Willie Quick Obituary
Willie Quick, affectionately known as "Lefty," was born on May 19, 1946, to Ellen Quick Bradley and Earl Walker at Roosevelt Island Goldwater Hospital in New York City. He was educated in the New York City Public Schools.
Willie 's greatest pride was his family. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Laurice Quick; his children Willie Jr., Keith and Kenneth, Brandon, Monique, and Donshia; his stepdaughter, Melecia , and stepson, Nijae; his son-in-law, Jonathan; many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his siblings Jackie, George, Michelle, and Robert; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was also a loyal friend to Ernest Rose and a member of the Church of God.
Willie will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, caring brother, loyal friend, and gifted storyteller. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 4, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at the Yanac Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. 35 Sterling Road, Mount Pocono PA 18344. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday October 4, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. This service will be proceeded by a repass at his stepdaughter's private residence, from 3:30 to 5:30pm.
