He is survived by the love of his life Amanda, of 34 years; his son Josh (Teliesha) and family; his granddaughter Ariana Reams (Milton Creel); his sister Bonnie Brannan (Randy); his sister Fannie Bemis; his brother Walter Reams (Kimberly); and many nieces and nephews with whom he was blessed and loved dearly.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents: Willie Sr. and Evelyn Reams; and his sisters: Barbara Colson and Theresa Murphy.
Butch worked as a logger in the log woods and then went on to work for, and later retired from, Jefferson County Schools.
Butch loved the woods and loved to hunt and fish. He loved to gather with family and cook and catch up. He was always full of love, hugs, and laughter and will be dearly missed by many.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Lloyd, in Lloyd, Florida, at 10:00 am, immediately followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Oakfield Cemetery in Monticello, Florida.
