On June 25, 1960 she was united in holy matrimony to James Roland who preceded her in death on December 29** 2018 and to the union one daughter was born
She worked for the United States government at Scott Airforce Base for over 35 years before retirement.
On October 27h, 2025 Laverne departed this life surrounded by her family.
She leaves to mourn her passing daughter Kelly Shaye Weston. Granddaughters, Leilani and Maile Weston and one great-grandon Jackson Agrodnia, Sisters, Thelma Williams, Velma Cavitt, Dorothy Jones. Brother John (Darlene) Morgan. One Aunt Ruthie Harrington. Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and a host of relatives and friends.
