Willie Tate Obituary
77, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away on May 25, 2025 at home. Originally from Palatka, Florida, he served in the United States Air Force prior to spending more than 40 years dedicated to his career with Honeywell. He enjoyed watching football (Go Bucs!), keeping up on current events, and cherishing time with family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Paulette; adoring daughter, Sundi and son, Darron; and many other loving family members and lifelong friends. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, integrity, and magnetic personality. Funeral service is Saturday, May 31, 2025, 1 pm at Smith-Young Funeral home Chapel, with visitation 12 noon until service.

Knew him as Bill at Honeywell. What a great man! The smile in the obituary photo is just the way I remember him: Kind and easy to talk to with an easy-going wit and attitude. The man didn't know a stranger. This world was a better place with you in it, sir. Rest in peace.
