Willis Skinner Obituary
Mr. Skinner was born September 5, 1941, in Neshoba County, MS to the late Willis and Mozelle Skinner. He moved to the Augusta area in the 1960s. Mr. Skinner served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked in door-to-door sales and retired from a career with the railroad with over 30 years of service. Mr. Skinner had a contagious laughter and enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, fishing, hunting and woodworking. He was a founding member of the Whitstone Boat Club and enjoyed spending time at the lake for over 50 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant children and a grandson, Cameron Neu.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Juanita Skinner; daughter, Charmin Neu (Michael); son, Eric Skinner; grandchildren, Graycen Smith (Wesley), Carson Neu and Chase Neu; sister, Charlene Rhodes; brother, Billy Joe Skinner (Shirley).

When I was a teenager I would spend a lot of time with Uncle Brooks and Aunt Nita.
They were always so much fun to be with.
My favorite memory of one of those times, I came in the back door of their house and heard them laughing. I found Uncle Brooks painting Aunt Nita´s toenails. She was very pregnant at the time and couldn´t reach her toes to do it herself. As much as they were laughing it´s a miracle polish wasn´t everywhere. He of course had done a lovely job! Rest in peace!
