Willis "Will" Lloyd Weber, 77, formerly of Independence, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in Warrensburg, Missouri.

He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on December 16, 1948 to Scott Wesley and Muriel Jeanette (Mayfield) Weber. After graduating from Concordia High School in 1966, he served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1968-1971, including 18 months in Vietnam. He married Kathy Laterra on November 5, 1971, building a family for 29 years before they eventually went their separate ways. For almost 30 years, Will worked hard as both a Mail Carrier and Mail Handler at the Independence, Missouri branch of the United States Postal Service before retiring in 2006. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fly fishing, hunting, and camping. He was accomplished at tying his own fly fishing lures. He dedicated his time as a Scout Leader to Troops 306 and 257 of The Boy Scouts of America, where he proudly celebrated both of his sons achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.

Will had one sister, Cora Ann, who died on April 29, 1992. Will is survived by his four children, Diane Do, Kristy Weber, Scott Weber, and John Weber. He has three grandchildren by his daughter Diane and three grandchildren by his son John. He has one nephew, Jim Wayne Hay.

Interment to be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
