Wilma Lee Chambers

Our hearts are filled with sadness by the passing of Wilma Lee King Chambers on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Wilma was born on February 11, 1950, passing just two days following her 76 th birthday. She was truly a lady with a kind and caring heart. Wima was a devoted homemaker, and she loved her family with all her heart and soul. During her quiet time, she enjoyed working on jigsaw and word search puzzles. She also loved to relax and watch her favorite television soap operas during the afternoon.

A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Wilma's memory will be forever held in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gudger King and Bessie Ledford, and also a sister, Melissa Burrell.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 18 years, Eldon Chambers; her sons, B.C. Wright, Jr. and Larry Wright; her grandchildren, Jarrod Wright and Jordyn Wright; great-grandson, Katom Wright; brothers, Ervin King and Johnny Ledford; sisters, Sue Wright (Stanley) and Norma Scott (Johnny); nephews, Chris King, Wayne Ingle, Robert Ledford, and Michael Hampton; and a niece, Deanna Burrell.

A funeral service to honor the life of Wilma will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, in the chapel of Crawford / Ray Funeral Home. Pastor Randy Thomason will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Entombment will be in The Horizon Mausoleum at Crawford / Ray Memorial Gardens in Clyde.
