Jean Gregory, born on February 10, 1928, in Hodgenville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on November 27, 2025, at Signature Health Care. She lived a vibrant life filled with love, adventure, and deep faith, which she shared generously with her family and friends.
Jean was a devoted mother to her children, David Gregory, Marcy Gregory Maki, Esther Medina, and Victor Gregory. She was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren.
Throughout her life, Wilma engaged in a variety of interests that brought her joy and fulfillment. As a member of Motorcycles for Jesus MJM, a passion that enriched her spirit. Her love for horses mirrored her adventurous heart, and her culinary skills turned her home into a warm gathering place, where friends were often welcomed for delightful dinners. She cherished the moments spent in church alongside her husband, whenever health permitted. Long drives provided her with a sense of freedom and exploration, allowing her to appreciate the beauty of the world around her.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Hurbert D Gregory, daughter, Mary Sue "Susie" Gregory, as well as her sons, Hubert Davis Gregory Jr. and Dexter Gregory. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Spencer and Maude (Middleton) Spencer.
Her family has honored her wishes with cremation, entrusted to the care of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home
