Wilma J. Paschen, 98, of Twelve Mile, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello.

Born on July 21, 1925, in Cass County, Indiana, Wilma is the daughter of the late Esther A. (Brown) Ulerick.  On March 25, 1945, in Metea, Indiana, Wilma married George M. Metz who preceded in death on March 23, 1968.  On July 8, 1984, in Metea, Wilma married Wilbert H. Paschen who preceded in death on December 11, 2011.

Wilma had worked as a beautician and was a graduate of Metea High School and a member Metea Baptist Church.

Surviving Wilma are two step-sons, Robert E. Paschen of Twelve Mile; Gary (Diana) Paschen of Lucerne; two step-daughters, Doneta Redding of Flora and Betty Morris of Logansport; 19 step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren; several step great great grandchildren.

Wilma was preceded in death by a step-son, Charles Paschen and step-daughter, Pat Breckenridge.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Foreman officiating. Burial will follow in the Metea Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Metea Baptist Church.
