Born in 1932, Wilma's life was filled with joyous moments shared with those she cherished most. As a Tax Preparer for many years, she exemplified diligence and precision in all that she did. Her commitment to her work was truly admirable and left a lasting impact on those around her.
One of Wilma's greatest joys in life was watching sports, particularly rooting for The University of Tennessee and Purdue University teams. Her enthusiasm for the games was contagious, bringing together friends and family in moments of excitement and camaraderie.
Beyond her professional and sporting interests, Wilma found solace and fulfillment in tending to her cows on the farm. The tranquil surroundings offered her a sense of peace and purpose, allowing her to connect with nature in a profound way.
Wilma's pride in her family knew no bounds. She celebrated their accomplishments with great joy, always offering support and encouragement along their journeys. Her love and guidance will forever remain in their hearts as a beacon of strength
A dedicated member of Brown's Chapel Church of Christ, Wilma found comfort in her faith and community. Her presence brought warmth to the congregation, embodying kindness and compassion in all interactions.
Visitation: will be from 12:00 PM – until time of services on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Spann Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: will begin at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Spann Funeral Home with her son Dr. Timothy Sensing officiating.
Interment: will follow at Parker Fowlkes Cemetery
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Brown’s Chapel Church of Christ.
