Lundberg Funeral HomeWilma Elizabeth "Billie" Stinar, age 89 of Cannon Falls, died peacefully on Friday evening, November 7, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Cannon Falls.
Billie was born September 13, 1936 in Tyler, Minnesota, to Catherine (Connors) Wagner and Alfred John Wagner. She grew up on a farm in Pipestone County going to a country school. She graduated in 1954 from Ruthton Public School.
After graduation she moved to Minneapolis and was employed at Viking Council Boy Scouts of America. In 1956, she was employed at Gamble Skogmo. She married Gene Stinar and they lived in Burnsville. They had one son, Randy. Billie also had a stepson, David Stinar. In 1973 they moved to the Cannon Falls area where she was employed at Mineral Springs Chemical Dependency Center. They spent 3 years in Harlingen, Texas working for Stinar Corporation of Texas. In 1989 they moved to the Welch area where they lived for 26 years. They then moved in to Cannon Falls.
Billie enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and gardening. She enjoyed motorcycling, flying, and boating with Gene. She loved to travel and they hit all 50 states along with most of Europe, parts of Asia, Australia and New Zealand. They enjoyed sailing adventures in the Caribbean.
The most important thing in her life was her family. She loved them all! She said she had a fantastic life and has no regrets.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Gene; son, Randy (Pam) Stinar; grandchildren, Josh (LeeAnna) Stinar, Aaron Stinar, Renae Linbo, Travis Stinar (Scott Rada) and Jena (Karl) Erie; great-grandchildren, Aubrie Pearson, Brendan Linbo, Sean Linbo, Archer Holm, and Harrison Stinar.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-son, David Stinar; sister, JoAnne Kearns; and brother, John Wagner.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 11:00 am, with visitation from 10-11:00 am at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church, Cannon Falls.
Honorary urn bearers will be her grandchildren.
