Wilson R. "Bill" Blain, 84 of Shalersville, passed away Thursday February 12, 2026 at the Arbors at Streetsboro. On May 31, 1941, he was born in Palmyra, Michigan to the late Wayne and Margaret (Bumpus) Blain. Bill has lived in Shalersville since 1991, was formerly of Streetsboro and was a self employed truck driver since 1954. He attended New Life Church in Garrettsville, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Leta Blain on December 9, 2006 and his sister Rebecca Nickles. Survivors include his children Kelly (Terry) Short, Beth Wadsworth, Rachele (Eddie) Hammons, Jeffery Blain, eight grandchildren, several great gandchildren and sister Susan Horton. Graveside services will be held 11:30 Am on Wednesday February 18, 2026 at Riverside Cemetery Shalersville, Ohio.
