Winfield Scott Beaman Jr

Winfield Scott Beaman, Jr., 70, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, in Harker Heights, TX. Scott was born on September 13, 1955, in Norfolk, Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Cathy Beaman; his children, Anne-Marie Francis Quinones (Edgar) and Winfield Scott Beaman III; and stepchildren Shannon Wagner (Wayne), Brian Mead (Ashtin), Deana Sanborn and Tara Hilley (Thomas). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; a sister in law, Theresa Beaman, and one niece and one nephew. Scott served in the U.S. Army for 12 years as an Army infantry Officer and Aviation Officer. He was a long range championship expert marksman and loved being a helicopter pilot. He was an avid guitarist and played in the Praise & Worship team at New Beginnings Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Winfield Scott Beaman, Sr., and Margaret Anne Beaman and his brother, Paul Heath Beaman. Visitation will be held on December 15, 2025, from 5 pm-7 pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights. Burial with military honors will be held at Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery on December 16, 2025, at 9:00 am in Killeen, TX. The memorial service will be held at New Beginnings Church at 858 Copperhead Dr. in Harker Heights immediately following the burial.
