Winifred J. Morosco

Winifred J. Morosco, age 100, of Zanesville, died 5:58 AM, Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at The Oaks at Northpointe in Zanesville.
She was born Friday, July 22, 1921 in Zanesville, the daughter of Frank L. Fox, Jr. and Helen (Lemon) Fox. She was married on Saturday, December 23, 1939 to Frank P. Morosco who preceded her in death on Saturday, December 20, 2003.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and an avid Euchre player. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Winifred is survived by a daughter: Patricia K. Morosco of Zanesville; one son: Jeffry Alan (Lee Ann) Morosco of Zanesville: 7 grandchildren: numerous great grandchildren and several great-great children and many extended family.
In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons; Thomas Lee Morosco and Larry Morosco; sister, Ruth "Eloise" Micka; and two brothers, William and Donald Fox.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Oaks at Northpointe and Hospice of Central Ohio for the loving care Winifred received.
Friends may call from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 AM on Tuesday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 925 East Main Street, Zanesville, with Fr. Martin Ralko officiating. Burial will conclude in the Mt. Olive Cemetery Zanesville.
