Winston Brooks Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Monday, December 4, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. Until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Born on July 23, 1941 in Cumming, GA, he was the son of the late Jim Otwell and Minnie Stanford Brooks. Mr. Brooks was retired from Wrigley's where he was a machinist.
Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife, Janice Adams Brooks of Flowery Branch; daughters and sons in law, JoAnn and Gary Presgraves of Flowery Branch, Wendy and Gary Dunn of Gainesville; son, James Brooks of Senoia, GA; son and daughter in law, Doug and Barbara Witherow of Cherokee, NC; sisters and brothers in law, Carolyn and Bill Miller of Oakwood, Rebecca and Alec Bailey of Gainesville; grandchildren, Amanda Presgraves, Jon Presgraves, Ethan Presgraves, Evan Presgraves, Billy Dunn, Jarad Dunn, Bailey Dunn, Jemma Brooks, Brandon and Christy Witherow, Dustin and Shea Ledford; a number of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
